Rule#4: Work-Life Balance
It is rare when you can finish work in 8 hours and enjoy life in other 16. Let every one know that sometimes there is more work and life would be in office. In fact, you gradually start with more work less life and should try and mature to less work more life.
If you don't... it will happen anyway when you are hospitalized/fired.
This IMM Cartoon inspired me to draw it, though it was since long in my mind. It is also one of the 17 new rules of Management.

Rule#1 - Everything is Impossible
Posted under 17 New laws of management
If you do it the Natural way... You come across a good Idea, you get excited, you think it would be difficult but you still don't want to turn it down and you commit.
That's it!
The hell does break loose if you fail to deliver as committed, and you will.
It is better to take every responsibility with caution and critic. And once you have it on you - deal with like you are trying to make impossible thing possible.
This law applies best to Management of work and Management of time.

With all your suspicion, I welcome you to tune in and watch the upcoming series.
Warning: Take everything with a grain of salt and sense of acceptance. Humor is just a way to say serious things better.
